a friend of mine was worried about the costs associated with printing the place cards, ceremony cards, and table numbers for her upcoming weddung, so i offered up my graphic design services. using a retro, motown theme (she's getting married in detroit) we decided on track numbers instead of table numbers, and had lots of fun remembering great motown songs to include on the table cards. the printing went smoothly, and last friday night a group of us got together, drank wine and trimmed all of the cards ourselves. i think it added a fun, personal touch to the wedding - i hope it looks good in the reception hall!
