what i've been working on

so for the past few months i have been doing a lot of fabric drawings and embroidery. see them here: ministry of craft. i have felt this process has been incomplete insofar as the girls i have been embroidering. i have been getting them from the french gentleman's magazine "La Vie Parisienne" from the turn-of-the-century. which has been nice, but has left me unsatisfied, as i am not doing them from my own drawing. so for the past couple of days i've been sketching again... and here are the rough drafts that will be turned into embroideries.
